PASSING CLOUDS
I cannot forget this incident for lifetime. This happened when I was studying 8th standard. I joined that school in 7th standard and I was quite new to the school. School environment and friends were supportive to me. Enjoyed school life until one day, when this incident happened.
We had two second language options, Tamil and Hindi. I took Tamil as it is my mother tongue. Maya took Hindi. By the way Maya is my friend.
I was called by Maya’s Hindi teacher that day. I was at the peak of shock, because I have heard a lot about her from Hindi students but nothing was good. My friends were also adding fuel to the fire. Went to Hindi classroom with a fear, I was almost ready to cry. Maya alone was in the class with her. Teacher told me to sit; she sat in front of me and started shouting like anything. I don’t know why she was scolding me but I was sure that Maya would have said something about me. Teacher also asked me to bring my parents tomorrow. There came tears out of my eyes, and I was in a state of shock.
I begged her that I won’t repeat it without knowing what the reason was. She was not convinced and added “Boys with this kind of behavior should be dismissed from school.” Again I pleaded her to the core and she said “if you repeat it again, I will definitely report to principal and get u TC.” Went back to my class with a sorrowful face, the whole class was waiting for me. Everyone started asking about the issue. I enquired Hindi boys what happened in the Hindi period.
As they said “Maya was crying in class while she was teaching. Teacher asked Maya about the reason for crying. She kept quiet, so she asked Kavitha, who was sitting next to her (none other than my villi). Kavitha told her that “I was sightseeing Maya, so she is mentally disturbed bcoz of it””
I was very much upset and disappointed about the reason. The question in my mind was “What the hell Kavitha think about me?” I was ready to go and fight with her. Suddenly, she came to my class and called me, Maya to a nearby empty classroom. I went with lot of anger. I started asking questions. Kavitha said “it was my mistake, I’m very sorry for what have happened.” I replied “what? You will blame me for what I have not done and then ask sorry.”
Maya dint open the mouth till that. She started crying and followed me saying “very sorry, I don’t know why Kavitha said like that” I dint hear her words and came out. The very next day, Maya cried again and I was left with no other choice except to accept her apology and restart our friendship from where we left. Months passed leaving sweet memories to remember for life time. But now I don’t even know where she is.
Friends no one can find what’s in girl’s mind. If you have a way to find it please share it with all. They will get boys into trouble and escape very easily. They speak well, share everything with you but suddenly they will move out of your life and disappear.
P.S: “BE CAREFUL GUYS, GIRLS ARE MYSTERY”
